There are two important specimens collected from Cook's first voyage that ended up in the Tunstall collection.
Blue-headed Parrot (Rainbow Lorikeet). "This bird was bought to England by Sir Joseph Banks who gave it to Mr Tunstall ..." p.127.
Cinerous Wattle Bird (Tui). "My Wattle bird, which was brought to England from New Zealand, that voyage when Sir Joseph Banks and Dr Solander accompanied Captain Cook ..." p.133.
