This book brings together 19 papers on the biogeography, ecology and conservation of the Violet Copper Lycaena helle. Although the focus is on a single butterfly species, this taxon stands as a representative for many endangered species and populations. Thus, this compilation is more than a simple monograph on the Violet Copper.
