Subantarctic New Zealand: a rare heritage. Neville Peat.

Invercargill: Department of Conservation, 2003. Octavo, colour photographs, maps, softcover.

To the south of mainland New Zealand are the subantarctic islands of Snares, Bounty, Antipodes, Auckland and Campbell. Uninhabited by humans they are rugged and remarkable national nature reserves. In recognition of their rare and special nature, they were designated a World Natural Heritage Area in 1998.
