David Seth-Smith (1875–1963) was the curator of mammals and birds for the Zoological Society of London, long term editors the Bulletin of the British Ornithologists' Club, the Avicultural Magazine and a regular BBC broadcaster. He visited Australia twice and befriended A. J. Campbell.
