Gould league of bird lovers of New South Wales [supplements one to eleven]
Sydney: Public Instruction Gazette, 1911-1921. Quarto, each supplement separately paginated with approximately 20 pages per supplement, uncoloured photographs, coloured plates (two by Neville W. Cayley), tipped in a sepia printed folding member's pledge. Binder's cloth with the signature of P. A. Bourke, all outer wrappers present, very scarce.
The Gould League of Bird Lovers of New South Wales was established in 1910 with the primary purpose of encouraging an interest in native birds amongst school children. In 1967 an amalgamation took place between the Gould League of Bird Lovers of New South Wales and the Junior Tree Wardens' League, forming the Gould League of New South Wales.
