The Horn Expedition was the most comprehensive record of a scientific expedition undertaken in Australia in the nineteenth century. Sir Walter Baldwin Spencer was the leader of the expedition and the principal editor of the official account. Published in four volumes this is the combined Geology and Botany volume with the Botany section by Ralph Tate and an appendix by J. H. Maiden.
