Small quarto, two page introductory "advertisement", four chromolithograph plates with accompanying letterpress to three plates. Publisher's plain black wrappers, some slight chipping, all contained in a modern cloth box, rare and probably ONE OF TWO KNOWN COPIES.
Folio, 303 chromolithographic plates with accompanying text and tissue guards. Six volumes bound in three, handsome contemporary half brown morocco and red cloth with gilt lettering, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. A fine crisp set free of foxing, paper oxidation and adhesion damage, very scarce in this condition.
Folio, six volumes [bound in three] 303 chromolithographs. Contemporary full calf with elaborate gilt design, some wear and one volume with spine crudely rebound. All volumes with substantial wear, however internally a clean and a sound set.
Large quarto, seven volumes, 1480 pp. 240 uncoloured photographs. Publisher's cloth, some wear, the upper spine of volume seven repaired, the titles pages with the stamp of the "Royal Zoological Society of New South Wales" plus a few stamps throughout, a sound set, scarce.

Folio, coloured titlepage plus 45 chromolithographs, each with an accompanying text leaf. Nine parts in original printed wrappers, all contained in early rexine box and envelope. The inevitable slight chipping of some wrappers and a few spots, the final leaf of part four crudely repaired, a very good set of an item often in poor condition.

Quarto, 332 pp. 60 handcoloured lithographs by Frohawk. Publisher's blindstamped burgundy morocco grain cloth with handsome gilt finch design on upper board, top edge gilt, a fine copy.

Contemporary quarter polished red calf and marbled boards, a handsome presentation of the zoophyte section from the Zoology atlas.
