Octavo, three volumes, 1558 pp. 73 uncoloured lithographs. Publisher's cloth, some slight wear primarily to the top of the spine of volume three which has a split along the upper edge, library accession numbers in a copperplate hand on the title pages and endpapers, a very good set, scarce.

Large octavo, two volumes, 504 pp. 38 handcoloured plates by H. Gronvold. TEXT (volume one): large octavo, later binder's cloth with leather labeled spine. PLATES (volume two): small quarto, contemporary half red morocco wrappers to part one retained, a very good set.
Quarto, 194 pp. 28 handcoloured engraved plates. Contemporary full calf and maroon leather label, some wear and corners bumped, all edges coloured, a sound copy.
Octavo, five volumes 1152 pp. 252 chromolithographs. Publisher's blindstamped cloth with gilt design, the library stamps of the Royal Zoological Society of New south Wales throughout but mainly on preliminaries, a sound working set.
Large quarto, seven volumes, 1480 pp. 240 uncoloured photographs. Publisher's cloth, some wear, the upper spine of volume seven repaired, the titles pages with the stamp of the "Royal Zoological Society of New South Wales" plus a few stamps throughout, a sound set, scarce.

Folio, coloured titlepage plus 45 chromolithographs, each with an accompanying text leaf. Nine parts in original printed wrappers, all contained in early rexine box and envelope. The inevitable slight chipping of some wrappers and a few spots, the final leaf of part four crudely repaired, a very good set of an item often in poor condition.
Folio, three volumes 845 pp. 61 uncoloured plates. A fine set in slightly chipped dustwrappers.
Small folio, four volumes. HISTORY: [13 parts in] two volumes, 48 chromolithographs by Keulemans. Contemporary full morocco elaborately gilt. SUPPLEMENTS: two volumes, twelve handcoloured lithographs by Keulemans. Publisher's red gilt decorated cloth, top edges gilt. A magnificent set, very uncommon in this condition.

Quarto, 332 pp. 59 (of 60) handcoloured lithographs by Frohawk, lacks the Painted Finch plate and the Chestnut-breasted Finch/ Three-coloured Mannikin plate is substantially trimmed but not affecting image. Publisher's blindstamped burgundy morocco grain cloth with handsome gilt finch design on upper board, top edge gilt, some light wear and a few spots throughout.

Folio, 20 uncoloured aquatints, each signed and numbered by the artist. All plates printed on deckle edge paper and contained in a cloth covered folio box, limited edition of 60 numbered copies, the separately printed booklet by Rosemary Low supplied in photocopy, a fine copy.
