Revised and updated with the latest distribution data collected by over 7000 active volunteers showing five million records from 270,000 surveys, with every 1 degree grid in Australia visited. The new atlas marks the culmination of these efforts, presenting 4000 distribution maps for over 650 bird species, including seasonal changes and breeding ranges. Range maps are also presented for 250 species, identifying those that are more common or less common since the first Atlas of Australian birds was completed 20 years ago.
