All published. The beautiful plates of The Entomology of Australia make it one of the finest of all Australian books. There were 24 subscribers; a second part was intended but never appeared. Much of the information for text and plates were supplied by William Sharp Macleay and Phillip Parker King. The insect specimens collected by Banks, by that time part of the collection of the British Museum, were also an important reference source.
