Large quarto, 176 pp. 40 chromolithographed plates; original gilt-decorated cloth, gilt edges, a few flecks otherwise a fine copy, very scarce in this condition.

One of the finest of all works on New Zealand botany. A further two volumes were planned but never published. It was available in the publisher's cloth for 10 shillings or a calf binding for one pound.
