Small octavo, paperback, 127 pp. colour illustrations, line drawings, map.
Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore are home to more than 230 species of dragonflies. This book covers over 98% of species known to the region. Coloured drawings of each dragonfly are provided and where necessary, coloured or monochrome drawings showing diagnostic features. A wide range of larval types are figured and the reader is further assisted by a brief text emphasizing important details and a visual key to odonate structure in the introduction. The small format of the book makes it ideal to be used in the field.
