We are Australia's largest natural history specialist bookshop. Established in 1981, we hold comprehensive new and secondhand stock and substantial holdings in fine antiquarian natural history. Our books are sourced from publishers and suppliers world-wide. All natural history subjects are catered for with substantial holdings of bird and botany books. We have a small, but expanding, stock of quality wildlife art and it is our intention to continue to develop this aspect of the business.Our knowledgeable staff have backgrounds in zoology, scientific photography and the book trade. We pride ourselves on offering professional and prompt service to all our customers.
We are primarily a mail order business and ship world-wide. Our packing is of the highest quality and we employ a near full-time packer. However, we are committed booksellers and offer a full shop service. Our showroom is located in Prahran, Melbourne and is open normal business hours and no appointment is necessary.
